About me

Hello and thank you for reading my profile. We live in a complicated world. Experiencing feelings of loneliness, anxiety, and stress is not unusual as we manage our lives. Individuals often face grief, marital discord, divorce, chronic illness, employment crisis, caregiver stress, and substance use either personally or with loved ones. Sometimes these events happen suddenly. In other cases, these stressors have been happening for years. Such events can result in unhappiness and disappointment that is difficult to explain.
Talking with a compassionate and mindful professional can assist in developing insight to problems I am a Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Mental Health Supervisor, and National Certified Counselor. I have provided psychotherapy to adults, families, and children for more than 25 years. Currently, my specialty is psychotherapy with adults
I understand that people experience problems differently. Treatment is most effective when individualized for each client. The therapist and client create a trusting partnership to identify client goals. Together, they develop strategies to achieve these objectives. I work with the Integrative Counseling modality as it supports the necessary flexibility for individualized treatment Your decision to seek counseling is courageous. Such a choice is often difficult. I would welcome the privilege to work in partnership with you. Whatever your decision, I wish you the best in your journey of self-discovery and growth.

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Mary Crowley. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Mary is a wonderful therapist. On day one she asked me what I was looking for from therapy and in a therapist and she has shown rigorous commitment to helping me in a way that is helpful to me! She listens, she takes notes, and most importantly to me she synthesizes the information I give her into concise summations that make it easier to understand her advice or suggestions. I cannot rate Mary high enough, if I could give her a 20/10 as a therapist I would!

She is lovely and kind, which has been so important as I go through grief. I'm so blessed that I've found her to talk to at this time. Have been so overwhelmed in my head, and with our sessions in feeling less alone and overcome by the issues I'm facing. My thanks to Mary and the ease of access on the Betterhelp site.

I have not known Mary all that long as we have only started working together for the last couple of months but my initial reaction has been extremely positive as she is a great listener and really understands where you are. She is genuinely interested, very professional and I find very easy to relate to. I look forward to our "talks" each week and feel that I am very fortunate to have have found her in this process.

Mary really listens to your thoughts and does not try to make you feel a certain way. She respects your ideas and has thought-provoking questions to help work out situations. Highly recommend!

She is just amazing. I’ve seen therapists in the past and she is spot on. The best therapist I’ve ever had. She listens, understands me and gives me points of view to think about. I truly appreciate and respect her.
