About me

My name is Adeline McTavous, I have been in the Behavioral Health Field for over 20 years. I am a Health Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, a trained Trauma Specialist, Forensic Evaluator and a Certified Clinical Supervisor. I have spent much of my career working with children, young adults (teens) and families in various settings such as Foster care, Inpatient and Outpatient settings. In addition I have worked with Juveniles in various Residential Programs including Sexual Offenders Program, Adult Detox and the Repeated Drug Offenders known as the Jail In-House Program in Key West, Florida.

Much of my work has been focused on the integration of the Body, Mind and Spirit approach. I am highly skilled compassionate, empathetic and solution focused Clinician who is looking forward to working with you to help you build confidence in your own abilities, learn new skills, eliminate problem behaviors and to help you restore hope and regain control thus achieving your goals.

I have an innate ability to establish rapport quickly, build trust, interact with and relate to individuals on all levels. I welcome the opportunity to work together with you, to achieve the level of functioning that I know is possible.

Dr. McTavous has been a tremendous help to me throughout my situation and she is who has gotten me through someof the toughest moments in my life. Without her I honestly don't know where I'd be.
