About me

Welcome! We all have a journey towards wholeness and healing in this life. The goal is to be strengthened through this journey and to feel empowered. That is where I come in—my primary focus when working with clients is to help clients see their own internal strengths and listen and reconnect with their inner wisdom while working to heal hurts, trauma and manage difficult emotions.

I am a License Clinical Social Worker in the state of Missouri. I specialize in working with individuals who have had to endure difficult life circumstances and traumas. I have worked within the private practice setting, along with working in psychiatric hospital settings, collegiate settings. My extensive experience includes working with clients who are experiencing grief and loss, active suicidal and/self-harm ideation, having regular panic attacks, struggling with daily depression and anxiety, having difficulty overcoming addictive patterns within their lives due overwhelming stress and working with clients who have Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

When providing therapeutic support, I use an individualized approach that best meets my client’s personal goals for investing in therapy. I am a trauma specialist who also has extensive training and experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Mindfulness. I come from a strengths-based perspective and actively work with clients to help them feel increased worth, confidence and motivation to achieve goals. I strive to come alongside clients to help them to see their value, worth and to help bring restoration, healing and hope.

I am dedicated to working diligently with my clients to provide quality support and to equip them with the necessary tools to help facilitate positive growth, change & healing. I offer phone sessions, video sessions and live chats on a weekly basis that includes early mornings, weeknights and weekends.

Alexandra is one of the most amazing heartfelt people I have ever met. She has helped me conquer emotional mountain and insecurities that I didn’t think was possibly. I still struggle time to time but having her makes a world of difference and she does an amazing job at guiding me though those hard times. My life and relationships would be in shambles right now If it wasn’t for her. I am forever indebted to this amazing ,outstanding, smart, caring, loving and compassionate woman.

I think she is very nice and pays attention to what I'm saying. She has helped me out tremendously with calming down and giving myself slack. I've cleaned a lot of my house and am doing better at work and in my relationships with family and friends.

She is amazing. She shows genuine cover and is amazing about just listening to let me get things off my chest. She validates what I am feeling and has been very helpful in helping me set boundaries, goals and clear expectations on how to handle what I am going through.
