Alexandria Jones

About Me

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with over 6 years of experience in counseling, and a lifetime of experience in the Christian church. I would describe my approach as warm, compassionate, empathetic, nonjudgmental, and client-centered. I have worked in residential and outpatient settings, as well as in private practice settings. While my passion is helping those who have experienced trauma and crises, I also have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the following areas: anger management, impulse control, family conflict, depression, stress and anxiety, grief and loss, self-esteem, problem-solving, and adjustment issues. While my preferred approach is Cognitive-Behavior therapy, as a Christian, I incorporate the ideals and principles of Christ into therapy.

I stand on the firm belief that "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). Therefore, as Christ strengthens me to help and empower others, I invite you to enter into a therapeutic relationship with me, where together, you and I can identify and meet your therapy goals.

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Alexandria always listens, never judges, and helps me process through what I’m feeling. I’ve told her the biblical leaders I follow and she even listens to them to better understand what I’m talking about. I’m very thankful to be working with her.
