About Me

I have been counseling since 2008 when I graduated from Spring Arbor University. I counsel children, teens and families from a biblical approach. I studied at Spring Arbor University and Great Lakes Christian College. I can help with parenting issues, relationship issues. and personal issues such as depression, anxiety, and stress.

In my spare time I hang out with my family and friends. I also enjoy photography. I love being outside with my camera and taking nature pictures. I also do small crafting projects to sell on the side in different small shops around me. I enjoy reading and writing books. I have published three books on Amazon and I am currently working on a fourth.

I have taught Sunday School and Children's programs for many years through my church. I also volunteer at my local church camp as a board member. I enjoy helping in my community where ever I can.

Written by C.H. on Oct 03, 2020 after counseling with Alison for 2 weeks

I was a little skeptical after my first counselor decided to drop me after only one session. But connecting with Alison has been a blessing. I found Alison Nethardt to be very caring and a good listener. I felt very comfortable talking with Alison and found her advise to be aplicable and very helpful to my situation.
