About me

I am an adolescent and adult counselor licensed in Georgia with over 6 years of experience working as a trauma and addictions therapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, complex trauma, process addictions, and substance abuse.

My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe you have what you need inside to heal; it's my role to provide you with the tools and comfort to withstand finding it. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral, solution-focused, and rational-emotive counseling. I will tailor our session and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. When you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to seeing you!

She's caring and professional.
If you're respectful and real you can sense that she wants to help you. Not only she can, but she want to!!
She's ready to adapt and listen to make sure she treats you in the way that is best for you. If you want a therapist that can help you to accomplish long lasting changes She's the one for you. (YOU'LL HAVE TO MAKE THE HARD WORK YOURSELF) But She's amazing

I had never been to therapy before speaking with Amanda but despite feeling nervous felt very comfortable speaking with her. She is very kind, asks important questions and genuinely cares about her clients. Thanks Amanda!
