About me

I started my counseling career in the residential setting working with at-risk youth. Since then, I have worked in community, educational, and Christian counseling settings.

While I make sure that I use the best treatment approach for my clients, I tend to lean towards Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. When a client reaches out for therapy, I want to make sure that I can help them find relief from their stressors as quickly as possible. I feel that these counseling techniques lend themselves to these desired results. I truly enjoy watching clients transform into more confident individuals as they learn different ways to approach whatever they might encounter as they travel down their life's journey.

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Amy Schnell. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Faithful Counseling might be different.

Amy is a great listener and is able to give practical counsel and insight for situations. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone who needs behavioral therapy. I also greatly appreciate how she is able to affirm and encourage me in my faith. My faith is so important to me that that is an essential trait from someone I choose to receive counsel from.

Amy Schnell has been invaluable in guiding me through the emotions and decisions surrounding our family’s transition out of the military after 25 years of active duty service. I really appreciate her focus on practicalities and her ability to encourage thoughtful decision making.
