In my role as your counselor, I approach you with kindness, warmth, and genuineness. As a follower of Jesus Christ, I approach counseling from a Christian worldview and understand the critical role a person's beliefs and faith play in coping, hoping, and overcoming the stress of this life. Meeting you where you are and "being real" is the core of my professional identity. I believe all individuals have within them what they need to produce effective change. I see my role as your counselor as helping you discover your strengths and use those to guide you toward optimal mental health and a fulfilling, happier life. I do this using techniques and approaches from dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, and motivational interviewing where focus is given to mindfulness, thought patterns, and patterns of behavior that have led to distress. However, all therapy is tailored to each client individually based on his or her needs.
I have a Masters degree in clinical mental health counseling from Regent University and worked as a registerd nurse for 17 years prior to my graduate studies. This gives me a unique skill set in understanding the link between one's mental, spiritual, and physical health that can create distress.
Therapy involves motivation and work on the part of the client and the therapist. Walking along side you on this journey of life is a privilege and honor. I look forward to working with you and welcome your story!

Andra is amazing. She is compassionate, listens and truly helps me. My life has changed so much since working with her. She has a way of reaching and connecting with me to work through the residue and side effects of my trauma. I wish everyone could experience Andra. She’s life changing
She’s beyond helpful, my confidence has gone up way more than it was before! And I’ve already recommended this to some of my friends that wanted to go back to counseling. 10/10 she’s awesome and this has been an awesome experience.
Andra continuously demonstrates the ability to listen, discern, and concisely summarize the information that I relay to her. She also has given me very helpful ways to look at issues we have discussed, which never occurred to me before! I look forward to our weekly sessions!
Andra is a very authentic counselor who teaches with power and compassion! I appreciate her level of concern and thoughtfulness regarding my current life struggles. She provides support in a way that requires introspective as well as practical applications. I'm grateful for the gift of this ministry and for the anointing on Andra to counsel.
Andra is very easy to communicate with and clearly is able to understand what it is I am searching answers. She is very professional and personable and would be someone I would have scheduled a regular appointment for if it would have been geographically possible. This type of counseling is very useful for a professional still working.
