About Me

Born and raised in Dallas, Texas (Go Cowboys!), I come from family of teachers. I began my professional career as a teacher for 9 years before becoming a school counselor for 4 years. I received my undergraduate degree in Education from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Ok and my Master's degree in Counseling from the University of North Texas. Traveling is my most favorite thing to do, and if there's a beach involved, I'm there!

I came to know Christ at an early age. Being raised in a Christian household, by parents in full-time ministry, I learned the importance of developing a personal relationship with God. Throughout my life, my faith has carried me through many difficult situations and helped me to be a light to others. My aim is to share the love of God with all those in whom I come in contact. For my clients who identify as believers, I incorporate scriptures and wisdom from God to help guide them through life challenges they may face. It is my endeavor to help other believers overcome depression, anxiety, or any other impairments in their functioning. It is my belief that God wants us to be well and in good health, not just physically but also emotionally.

In my favorite scripture, Philippians 4:6-8, We are instructed to seek God in the midst of trouble. I understand that the decision to seek counseling can be a difficult first step to make. Taking that step together, we will work towards helping you to take control of your life and experience the fullness of all that God designed for your life. I look forward to working with you!
