Ashley Goetsch

About Me

I am a mental health counselor licensed in the state of Florida with more than 5 years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, schools, private homes, and addiction treatment centers. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Southeastern University and a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University.

I am a Christian and my faith and relationship with God has been an invaluable resource for strength and peace in difficult times of my life. I was raised studying the scriptures, and I enjoy helping others apply these truths to their lives. My goal is to help my clients develop their own internal resources to draw from in order to reduce distress and experience a more fulfilled and joyful life. Currently, I work in private practice and provide treatment for a range of symptoms and disorders, including anxiety and depression, mood disorders, post-traumatic stress, abuse, adjustment disorders, grief and loss, addiction, self-esteem/body image issues, and adoption related issues.

I am passionate about helping people heal and find hope. I believe that everyone’s journey is unique and important, and strive to provide a warm therapeutic atmosphere in which clients feel accepted and comfortable exploring their past and present difficulties. My goal is to empower my clients to make the positive changes they desire in order to live life to the fullest.

I am honored to be a part of your journey and look forward to working with you!
