I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Maryland and am also a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). For over five years, I have worked with people to help them reconnect with their ability to heal and become whole. I have experience working with trauma issues, grief, depression, anxiety, stress management, and adjustment difficulties. In addition, I also help my clients when they are struggling to manage their careers. Settings I have worked in include hospitals, clinics, private practice, and county services. As a graduate of Loyola University, I have a specialty in pastoral counseling and am very comfortable working with clients on spiritual and religious issues.
My work focuses on counseling as a collaborative process that meets your therapeutic needs and primary concerns. This organization is definitely beneficial to someone with a busy life like mine. Because I NEED THIS it allows me to have access to my counselor, for a lack of better words, at any time. Whether it be video chat, phone, or text; I am able to contact her, express my feelings, and when I get off the phone I feel a sigh of relief.
Barbara is great! She is very kind and provides strategies that felt attainable for me to do while trying to discover solutions for me to better with self care. I looked forward to our sessions and I would recommend her to anyone.
I appreciate Barbara for her caring and helpful counseling. Everything she has recommended has been very helpful. And look forward to continuing our counseling.
