About Me

Greetings, I am a counselor with more than 10 years of experience as well as a lifelong Christian. I study my bible and participate in church services weekly. I am here to help you achieve better coping during and through circumstances by reflecting on God's word as recorded in the Bible. My motto: better is possible because God will deliver us from all afflictions (Psalm 34:19). I have a Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. I have assisted numerous persons in distress related to career difficulties, multiple types of grief including complicated grief resulting from the loss of a loved one to suicide, as well as the loss of a previous ability such as sight and sound, life changes (planned and unplanned), criminal justice involvement, caring for elderly parents as well as loved ones of all ages who have special needs. In addition, I am experienced in assisting persons who have the Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) trait/ Sensory Processing Sensitivity. Also, persons convicted of serious offenses as well as in developing boundaries and identifying techniques to use when interacting with persons different from one’s self: politically, economically, and those with whom we become connected through marriage, at work, school, and other places of association. I am equally experienced in assisting those who were victims of crimes inclusive of burglary and rape.

I am available Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. (Occasionally and upon request I am available Saturdays). I offer morning, mid-day, and evening sessions via phone and chat. Please note I regularly reserve slots for clients who are in time zones outside of Maryland within the United States of America by request. Additionally, I respond to all correspondence sent Monday through Thursday within 24 hours and I respond by Monday to all correspondence sent Friday through Sunday.

Bridgette will tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. It's only right to learn the truth about yourself and what's going on around you.

Bridgette is an amazing counsellor. she is an amazing listener, and she is serious about finding the right tools to help you. Bridgette is not only academically educated in counselling, she is also spiritually educated, ready to arm you with scriptures related to your situation. God definitely speaks through her, and I would recommend her to anybody!!

She’s extremely helpful, professional, and caring. She has helped me immensely in the past month, helping me return to a functioning person again. Could not thank her enough. Great counselor, knowledgeable, and will explain why you feel the way you do, as well as articles and books to read in your own time. She knows a wealth of verses and how to use them to speak truth.
