About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensed in the state of Georgia with 11 years of experience. My theoretical approach includes a Client-centered, Christ-centered base along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing. I received training in Paracletos Counseling using Scripture and CBT. I believe in God and the power of prayer for whole-person recovery. I meet clients where they are by being a helper and comforter, then moving on to counseling and advocating for the client through prayer and Scripture. I begin each session inviting God to lead me, and I end each session in thanksgiving and praises for what God will do. Prayer is an essential part of Christian counseling and understanding how to be quiet long enough to hear the voice of God is part of my approach. I am a prayer warrior and take all issues to prayer for as long as the client is a client and until the client can walk alone.
