In my 21 years in private practice and an additional 10 years experience working as a Program Director for a Professionals’ Health Program for medical professionals, I have extensive experience with a diverse population and issues. I believe providing a nonjudgemental, empathetic, safe and accepting environment is one essential aspect of therapy.
While secular therapy incorporates various therapeutic approaches, Christian counseling incorporates secular therapy with your faith. Identifying basic faith approaches with Biblical references to direct your path to healthier place.
Although a seasoned therapist, I believe I can always learn more and have a willingness to do research to provide the best resources for my clients. If you do not think the therapist/client relationship is a fit, it is my job to assist you in locating a therapist that is more suitable for you.
It takes courage to share your life issues with a stranger. I assure you, I will listen with respect and compassion as we navigate through this journey of therapy together as Christians.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Carolyn Westgate. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Faithful Counseling might be different.
Carolyn is awesome! Very good listener with great suggestions, deeply understands even the hardest things I have to discuss. Compassionate, already an ally on my team and it usually takes longer for me to feel trust. I talk a lot so we plow through quite a bit in a session but I believe she would listen whether I could talk or not.
