My name is Cassi Davis, I am an licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in the state of Utah. I received my Masters degree in Clinical Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin. I have been practicing in the field of counseling and social work for 9 years and I truly love what I do. I have been told that my counseling style is warm, inviting and understating .
The experience that I have with Christian counseling is the fact that I am a Christian and I believe that one's faith has a lot to do with their belief system and how we make day to day decisions. I think it is very important to acknowledge God in everything that we do. I also strongly believe that faith is very important in a persons life, especially when going through a hard time.
I believe that when we combined God and faith in counseling that it gives us a different perspective that can help us get through the hard times that we might not get when we don't involve God or our faith during the healing process. While I am a Christian and believe in God and faith, I will not bring my beliefs into counseling and force them onto someone I will just use them as common ground and let the client control how much religion is brought up in counseling and how they want to use it in the session. I look forward to working with you.

Cassi has been a great help. I have been doing near weekly sessions for a little over a month. I had done therapy off and on in previous years, but always had trouble making progress. I was caught up with anxiety and depression around home and church life. Cassi herself did a great job understanding where I was coming from and helping me see as well, and being able to do it from home and not take time off from work for each session was a huge bonus.
Cassi is understanding, patient, and considerate. When it came to faith based issues, I was hesitant to start therapy again as it's all so personal and hard to explain. We got right to it, and I never felt misunderstood or judged. We zeroed in on things faster than I expected based on past experiences. Cassi is skilled in what she does and I appreciate the help she's given me.
Cassi is doing great. I just started with her and she is awesome!
I have just started with her, but so far she has been good and has been giving me a variety of tools to work with.
