While I enjoy working with many different types of people, my ideal client is someone who is open to exploration and can view therapy as a journey and a process, rather than quick fix. I work best with someone who can see me as a support and can partner in uncovering solutions that work best for them, rather than looking to me for total direction. I have helped individuals in successfully transitioning to the next level in their lives, increase motivation and self-esteem to improve relationships and sense of self worth, and have helped individuals establish the identity that they desire. In the past I have worked with teenagers and adults of all ages (young adults to middle aged), partnering with them on their journey of navigating relational concerns, coping with grief/lose, managing trauma, defining identities, and successfully transitioning to their next stage of life.
I find that the world carries glimpses of hope and opportunities for positive change for those who earnestly seek it. I believe in the power of vulnerability and advocate for transparency in partnerships, business, and friendships as I believe that it strengthens our connections. My personal relationship with Christ has helped me help others enhance their love for others, and understand God's love for each of us. I have found that it is through the understanding of this love, that we can learn ways to care for ourselves and each other. In my work with Christian clients, I strive to start where the client is, whether it is someone that grew up in the church, yet is unsure about their faith at this point, or someone who is earnestly seeking to utilize spiritual tools to support their mental health, I find it a privilege to support clients on their mental and spiritual health journey.

I am very thankful for Faithful Counseling and especially Chante Gamby. She provides valuable feedback and resources, not trite or superficial answers. I feel like she really listens to me.
Chante has been a huge help and a listening ear. I have appreciated all she has helped me through thus far and I would highly recommend her.
