About Me
Greetings! I have 25+ years of counseling experience. I graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Masters in Counseling, the top of my class. I am also an ordained deacon with the Episcopal Church, in which my ministries include Pet Loss (Animals and Spirituality), Grief/Loss, and Pastoral Care. I have been ordained a little over five years. My approaches vary and depend on what would work with/for you, so it's a collaborative approach. My style is friendly, non-judgmental and very interactive. During my years of counseling experience, I have found that many of us are on a journey of self-discovery and sometimes we get stuck, the rocks on the path seem to be just too overwhelming, or we're at a cross-roads or the road needs to become more interesting. I would like to help you find your solutions so your joy can return. My approaches consist of rational-emotive therapy (REBT), solution-focused, Motivational Interviewing, Loss and Grief, Mindfulness, and spirituality.
