I believe it is important as people of faith to obtain counseling that is consistent with our faith. This has guided my practice since it's beginning. Faith is a critical part of my own life. I became a follower of Christ as a child and endeavor to live and counsel in accordance with biblical teaching. My formal counseling training has been with faith based institutions, first Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and then Regions University. At both schools, counseling was taught through a Christian worldview. I believe the bible as a lot to say about how we are to live and about who we are to overcome problems. I would never beat someone up with a bible, but I will gladly open it with you to find solutions for the struggles you face. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral techniques which focuses on changing how we think in a way that changes our emotions and behaviors. I believe this form of counseling is consistent with scripture (See Philippians 4:8 for example). I love what I do. I love to see others grow and heal. I am passionate about it and I will give your concerns my very best. I am currently licensed in Georgia and work exclusively with Georgians seeking help and healing.

Dr. Adeniyi is very focused and goal oriented in helping you resolve your issues. She is attentive and listens well to what I have to say and brings up some very good and thought provoking points and questions. She is so thorough that I feel I am getting an effective counseling experience just through text messaging which has been a pleasant surprise! She is available through calls or video chat but I have not felt that is really necessary.
I can see that Dr. Adeniyi seeks to listen closely and carefully respond. She responds with experience and echoes back what I have said, not to be repetitive, but to show me she understands what I am saying. She asks thoughtful questions regarding what I have shared, and doesn't pile on "homework" for me. She is both prompt in responding, and patient with me. She checks on me in my absence, and sends helpful resources for me to look over and use or draw from. Though our sessions move slowly, by my own choice, she is thorough and not pushy. I do recommend her and her services.
Dr. Adeniyi is very compassionate and understanding. She never judges me or is harsh with me, and is very patient in helping me work out my issues.
