Very compassionate, very knowledgeable, and helpful with useful insight.

I am quite satisfied with my experience with Dr Boen so far.

It almost seems pointless to mention any flaws, but if there was one, I’d say that it would be nice if he were a bit more outward in reaching out to me more often, say once a day, or something like that. However, this may be a personal issue that pertains more to my own mental situation .

He seems very intelligent and open. I feel little to no judgement or resistance whenever discussing sensitive subjects with him.

I've only interacted with Dr Boen a few times, but I felt safe to be open as well as his sincere empathy, his invested listening to understand and his display of fairness in his honest remarks. I look forward to rolling up my sleeves with this veteran team player and up my emotional game to face my grieving and relearning to trust in love again.

Listens and understands.

After only one session, Dr. Boen was able to quickly identify an area of my life that was currently affecting my trauma...causing current events to connect to my past childhood trauma. He gave me homework to begin writing a memory log that will (hopefully) help me work through this difficult time. In my 2+ decades of counselling, no doctor or therapist has ever suggested this. I'm very excited to see how this will help decrease my symptoms.
