About Me

I have earned two Master's degrees. One is a Master of Science in counseling psychology from Tarleton State University and a second one, Master of Divinity, from Andrews University Theological Seminary. I am a LPC-S (Licensed Professional Counselor, Supervisor) in the state of Texas. Most of the clients that I see are in marital or family therapy. Additionally, I served for 22 years as an Army Chaplain and I retired in 2012 at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Previously, I was a church pastor for about eight years. Total overall years of experience in the counseling field are over 38 years. I tend to use solution focused therapy and will use other approaches depending upon the needs of the client/patient.
