I am Danielle Proch-Vonbartheld, Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor and National Certified Counselor. I graduated from Liberty University Bachelor of Science Psychology Counseling Program in 2011 and the Liberty University Master in Psychology Counseling Program in 2014.
I've served as a Christian Bereavement Coordinator in a hospice for 2 years in Pittsburgh, PA. It was an honor to work there because the dying taught me how to live. Since moving to Florida I have worked at a Community Health Drug and Alcohol Detoxification Center and am currently in Community Mental Health for co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders. My specialties include trauma counseling, grief and loss, LGBTQIA as well as anxiety and depression.
My goal is to guide you through life’s most complex and difficult issues by allowing space for your feelings, designing a treatment plan based on your strengths, proven techniques and your unique individual needs. I am trained in different modalities of treatment including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Strength-based therapy, DBT, Mindfulness, as well as Integrative Therapies.
I graduated from Liberty University with a Master's degree in Professional Christian Counseling. I respect all paths that lead toward God/ Love/Spirit and respect each client's distinct Spiritual beliefs. I use biblical principals and references at a client's request. If a client does not have spirituality that is respected as well. My personal guiding beliefs are to love God with my whole heart and love one another.
- Stress, Anxiety
- Trauma and abuse
I also have experience in Addictions, LGBT, Relationship issues, Family conflicts, Anger management, Self esteem
