I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Missouri with more than ten years of counseling experience. I have been trained in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I see individuals, couples, families, and groups.
I love Biblical Counseling. My wife and I spend much of our time in ministry, from being part of pastor’s ministry groups and women’s’ ministry groups to international ministry. My heart is full of joy, and I strive to live my life by being humble, kind, and honest. I believe that these characteristics, built on the foundation of scripture and incorporated in counseling, create a vehicle for sustainable change.
Life can be difficult. Life can be hard. You don’t have to suffer. You can find joy and peace. No matter what you have gone through or what you are going through, you are not alone. We can get through the stress and the struggle, together. There is hope if you know where to find it.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Dr. David Boyer. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Faithful Counseling might be different.
Really found the right therapist in Dr David Boyer. I feel safe with him in my journey.
It's been a few days having Dr Boyer as my therapist. We've been talking via the chat box and I'm so eager to have our first one on one live session . It's my first time in therapy so in the beginning I felt a bit confused and/or uncomfortable as to how to start or approach my concerns. However, as I started asking questions, Dr Boyer was answering all of them and it made me look forward to going through this journey with him. I can't wait for our fist live session!
