About me
I am a Christian and by God's grace I was ordained in 1992. I have dedicated my life to learning and serving the Church, by that I mean the people who make up the body of believers that are called the church or the ecclesia.
I have a deep commitment to Christ and his Kingdom, I attempt to bring hope and healing to individuals and to marriages. Marriage is God’s design and plan but we mess it up. I seek restoration of marriages and that motivates me.
I am deeply committed to Christ and Biblical truth. I have served much of my adult life as a Pastor for Baptist Churches. I love the personal freedom and responsibility that congregational churches provide and where God has called me to serve.
I include scripture in my counseling, I pray for my clients, I don’t claim to have all the answers but I do point the way to God for his intervention in our lives. I encouraged living a Godly life.
I would see my self as more guiding and encouraging. I can be directive when Scripture is clear but with emotional work it is usually better for each of us to discover what Gods will is for us so I try to guide us to ask the right questions, not always have the right answers.
I don’t like divorce but the scripture does say “I permit divorce because of the hardness of their hearts” I don’t believe divorce is what God intended but He also shows us grace an mercy in many ways. I press for reconciliation but if this is not possible then I try to be supportive and help with the process.
I have a heart for working with adults and with couples. I work with depression, anxiety, trauma, NPD and other personality issues.
I have been working for over 4 years with couples dealing with Narcissism issues. I have also worked in a Maximum security prison where I encounter many personality issues and have made training presentations on dealing with personality issues.
There is healing in recognizing what drives us from the past. I use Lifespan integration to help clients reconnect memories to help them reprocess the implicit memories that drive behaviors. Understanding where we have come from is a positive way to move beyond these self destructive behaviors.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for David Daroff. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Faithful Counseling might be different.
David is balanced, fair, considerate and wise. He has guided my wife and I back into each other's light and helped us become whole again. Thank you David!
