About me
I have worked with people for 42 years as a pastor’s wife. During that time I engaged in counseling with couples and individuals. In 2001, I returned to school to obtain an education and degree in Counseling. I attended Southwestern Assemblies of God University and completed my degree program there. I then attended Tulane University School of Social Work where I graduated with my master’s degree in Clinical Social Work. I believe that developing our faith and trust in someone bigger than ourselves is integral to managing and overcoming the challenges that we face in our culture today... in our families and in our communities. I personally have experienced the abundance of grace and the power of God during some of the most difficult times in my life which enabled me to continue to function and even press through when the challenges were great. I believe in the power of prayer and the importance of using Scripture as coping mechanisms to aid us in our journey.
