About Me

As Christians, we know that our faith has the power to move mountains. Those mountains could be fear, anxiety, stress, depression, and the list goes on. When those mountains seem impossible to climb, God sends individuals our way to remind us that our faith can and will move these mountains, if we are willing to take the necessary steps and actions to overcome. The Bible says, In the same way, faith by itself if it is not accompanied by action, is dead (James 2:17 NIV)
Are you ready to begin the work that will change your life and move that mountain out of your way? Counseling is my purpose and passion, and if I can assist someone in overcoming “their mountain,” I have fulfilled my purpose. As a Christian Counselor, I believe incorporating faith along with therapeutic interventions is very important in the therapeutic process. It is my goal to help you achieve your self-determined goals while providing opportunities for problem-solving and spiritual growth.
I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology. It will be my pleasure helping you move that mountain so you can start living your best life.

Denise is compassionate, understanding, and attentive. She routinely challenges my negative thinking patterns. I still struggle a lot but after I speak with her I feel more hopeful.
