About Me

Greetings. I want to congratulate you on taking the first step towards recovery. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I have over seven years of experience working with individuals with depression, anxiety, relational issues, and trauma. I earned my Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. I am currently seeking a Master’s Degree in Addictions Counseling.
Every journey needs a guide. On your journey to recovery, I walk with you to help guide you to a better understanding of where you have been and where you want to go. I believe in the therapeutic relationship and the power of that relationship can help affect change. While I approach counseling from a wide array of approaches, such as humanistic, psycho dynamic, Christ centered counseling and cognitive behavioral, my approach is tailored to what you need and identify as your goal in recovery.
I believe that effective change and effective therapy takes time. It takes a willingness to explore the past, consider the present, and change the future for the better. You have taken the first step on that path to a better future and I commend you on that bold action. I am ready to work with you and walk the path with you. I wish you a happy and healthy recovery.

Dennis is a great listener and counselor. I’ve only had a few sessions so far but each one has been refreshing to talk things out. I’m looking forward to future sessions with him.
