Greetings. I want to congratulate you on taking the first step towards recovery. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I have over seven years of experience working with individuals with depression, anxiety, relational issues, and trauma. I earned my Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. I am currently seeking a Master’s Degree in Addictions Counseling.
Every journey needs a guide. On your journey to recovery, I walk with you to help guide you to a better understanding of where you have been and where you want to go. I believe in the therapeutic relationship and the power of that relationship can help affect change. While I approach counseling from a wide array of approaches, such as humanistic, psycho dynamic, Christ centered counseling and cognitive behavioral, my approach is tailored to what you need and identify as your goal in recovery.
I believe that effective change and effective therapy takes time. It takes a willingness to explore the past, consider the present, and change the future for the better. You have taken the first step on that path to a better future and I commend you on that bold action. I am ready to work with you and walk the path with you. I wish you a happy and healthy recovery.

Ive already recommended the app & Dennis Steelman to a few people. I didn’t care for counseling before finding the right counselor. He keeps it real & focused, does not choose sides, and always gives you something to walk away with.
I'm grateful to have found Mr. Steelman, after going thorough a couple of less useful experiences on the platform. He is highly professional and has a bit more of the old school . For me personally, this creates as other conselors tried to hard to express how they emotionally empathise with me which is not. I want an objective, detached persective of
Dennis is a great listener and counselor. I’ve only had a few sessions so far but each one has been refreshing to talk things out. I’m looking forward to future sessions with him.
Dennis is caring, he listens and offers ideas to help me as I move forward into a new phase of my life.
