Welcome! Whatever it is in your life that has initiated your search for support, you’ve come to the right place. It takes wisdom and courage to seek out counseling support in getting the life you want and I want to help you get there. Here is a little about me and how I plan to support you:
I have a master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Central Oklahoma and am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Oklahoma, since 1998. Since the beginning of my career I have been refining my skill in counseling others. I spent about nine years in community mental health settings and four years in an alternative school working with children from 3rd through 12 grades. The most recent twelve years have been spent with the military, counseling military members and their families. I've worked with ages 3 to 80 years who've encountered significant grief and trauma in their lives, those recovering from PTSD, and those who have had suicidal thoughts. I've had the pleasure of helping individuals with complete lack of self esteem and motivation find hope and grow new and more resilient confidence. I am well versed, personally and professionally, in the struggles of depression—wherever you may be in the grief process.
My therapeutic style involves helping you to arrive at insight and develop strategies and tools that you can begin using immediately to make positive change in your life. I love to provide you with concrete tools wherever possible and help you to have a plan for the following days before our next session, collaborating together and moving at your pace. Most importantly, I will be there to guide, encourage, and possibly even challenge you if I feel you are unknowingly allowing obstacles to stand in the way of your goals and desires.
I would also like to add that I too have had experience being the client in a counseling relationship and I was very particular about what I looked for in my therapist/counselor. I am a person who needs to know I can say absolutely anything to my counselor and they will not think any less of, or judge me. I need to feel understood, respected and validated in their presence in order to feel that I can say things that I hold back from saying to others in my day to day life. If this is the kind of relationship that you are looking for with a counselor, then you’ve come to the right place.
Finally, I have found that people of faith have an advantage in making changes because of their understanding of giving and receiving forgiveness for their mistakes. An understanding that we are to be in a continual process of change, pursuing conformity to the image of God which produces peace and acceptance of this world and the circumstances that we find ourselves to be in. I look forward to working with you.

I love the way Diana communicates. She listens well and responds accordingly. Feel completely comfortable and safe to talk or share what I am going through. Would definitely recommend her.
Diana Davis is great! She is always willing to listen about whatever I need to talk about, and her insight is very valuable in helping me work through my issues. I highly recommend Miss Davis and FaithfulCounseling!
