Hello and welcome!
My name is Diana Mc Carley and I am licensed as an LMHC in Florida and as an LPC in Texas with 10+ years of counseling experience. I am a Christian/faith based woman that would like to provide a safe space to help provide a warm, inviting, safe and non-judgmental environment for all my clients. As a counselor, I believe that including faith in the counseling appointment is when the most effective, positive changes occur and that God will walk with us through our difficult times!
In the past, I've worked in private practice, Hospice, local and government agencies, in the University setting, and with local churches to help young adults, individuals, and families. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, and trauma/abuse recovery. I have also enjoyed working with individuals, experiencing chronic illnesses, cancer, and those facing end-of-life issues.
My counseling style is interactive and compassionate. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in labels. You are not your diagnosis! My counseling approach combines Cognitive-Behavioral, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Client-Centered, and Trauma-Focused Therapy. Together, we will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I believe I have a calling to help anyone work through difficult situations.
It takes determination and courage to change your life to one that is more fulfilling and happier. If you are ready to take the first step in changing your life for the better, I am here to support, encourage, and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!

My Therapist interacts with my issues well. She makes suggestions on different modalities on how to reduce anxiety. She shares her experiences with me helping me see that there are many things I can do.
