I am a licensed professional counselor in Colorado with over 10 years professional experience helping people. I have successfully worked with Clients to address: Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Grief and Loss, Divorce, Parenting Challenges, Physical and Emotional Trauma, Family Conflict and Communication, Substance Use, etc. I also have a lot of experience working with individuals, couples, and families.
My counseling style is supportive and goal oriented. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. Depending on my clients’ needs, I draw from diverse counseling techniques that can include: Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), as well as psychodynamic therapy techniques. Every client is unique, so all counseling is individualized to meet their individual strengths and challenges.
At times, we all can find ourselves feeling isolated...alone...without understanding. It can be hard to reach out to someone and seek the support you need. There is hope, though. The support is there for you when you are ready.
