Welcome! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in North Carolina and Georgia with over 20 years of clinical experience in treating individuals and couples.
My primary experience has been in working with professionals managing depression, substance use/abuse, anxiety, life-work balance stressors, eating disorders, and sexual matters. In addition, I have expertise providing care to individuals with Asperger’s, couples work, pre-divorce counseling, and career/employment counseling.
I am a Christian and offer counseling from a Christian perspective when a client or couples desires this approach and perspective. Christian Counseling means different things to each client, and I begin with exploring how my clients wish to integrate spirituality and/or religion into our work. My goal is to meet clients where they are and partner with them to consider and predict the natural consequences which come to bear based on choices. I approach therapy with an integration of mindfulness, solution-focused methods, and reality-based interventions. Often we are driven into counseling either by an internal or external demand which no longer allows us to exist as we are. Counseling is about making a choice to manage life differently, or not--and not making a choice… is nevertheless still a choice.
“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.”

Eb is a great listener and has given me some great advice!
Eb has been great to work with, she is a great listener and has helpful feedback. I am very thankful for this platform!
Eb has been a wonderful counselor for me in a season of deep grief, confusion and stress. Her counsel is solid. She listens and remembers previous conversations. And I always come away feeling encouraged and uplifted in this journey I’m on since my husbands death. Having someone wise to talk to has helped me walk this road of grief in a healthier way and many people have attested to it and I say praise God and that I have a wonderful counselor and that has made all the difference.
Eb helps me realize how I can help myself AND that it is okay to ask others for help. I am learning useful tools to cope with my anxiety.
She’s very helpful and encouraging.
My counselor has helped me address issues that I have been ignoring for some time. My sessions have ultimately changed my pattern of thinking and helped me be more proactive in my self care. I would highly recommend Eb to others!
