Hello! My name is Beth Duvall and I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Kentucky. I have over 9 years experience working in community mental health and private practice. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, stress, family problems and grief/loss. I have also helped many people who have experienced trauma and abuse.
My counseling style is pleasant and interactive. I believe in treating my clients with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. As a Christian, I believe that lasting change cannot happen without the Lord. He is the source of true joy and peace. I believe that the Bible is our guide for life. The Bible is also a source of encouragement to us when the storms of life threaten to overwhelm us. With this in mind, I want to use my personal Christian beliefs and my professional training to work on a treatment plan to help you meet your specific needs and goals. I want to help you meet the goals that you have set for yourself.
It takes courage to take the first step toward positive change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and encourage you along the way. I look forward to working with you!

I highly recommend Mrs. Duvall-and I’m a therapist too! I needed some extra support after losing my sister to cancer and experiencing trouble setting healthy boundaries with work expectations as well as the people I encounter running a ministry/outreach. Her insight is helping me balance a busy life while grieving the loss of my sister/best friend.
