Helllo, my name is Emilio Yonta I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Addiction Professional and a Certified Christian Life Coach. I am licensed in Clinical Social Work in Florida, Tennessee and about to become licensed in Alabama. My PhD is in Clinical Christian Counseling as I provide specific Christian oriented perspective in approaching persons and their problems. I have 38 years of combined experience in Community and Emergency Mental Health, and in my private practice of 21 years with Children and Adolescence, Couples and Families, Organizational and Corporate Coaching. I currently work with the DOD, Department of the Army providing Psychotherapy for Active Duty Service men and women. Treating issues related to PTSD-Combat and non combat related stress reactions. I am also a Personal Fitness Training and have incorporated wellness and movement approaches with my therapeutic and coaching interventions. I have provided therapeutic services for physicians, nurses and pharmacist struggling with addictive behaviors and substances. My main treatment approach is that of client centered, to be an empathic and active listener, listening deeply to clients thoughts and feelings, wants, needs and goals. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy/Brief Solution Focus Therapy are effective and efficient. Other therapies associated with trauma treatment reduction of the effects of trauma such; Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Processing Therapy are also Evidence Based effective treatments. These and other EBT-Evidence Based Therapies are an integral part of my counseling process and provide for effective and efficient interventions for most problem areas. Life Coaching/Focused Coaching is another area of expertise that provides coaching clients with a format of Powerful and effective questions that move stuck clients to getting unstuck in their live.
