About me
I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Tennessee with 10 years experience. I have worked with people with a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress, ADHD, relationship problems, and sleep difficulties. I have also helped people with chronic pain or disability. I have helped clients integrate their faith with psychotherapy techniques to achieve their treatment goals. I am reminded that we "walk by faith," not (always) sight.
In order for me to practice ethically and legally in TN, please provide me with your contact information in the event of an emergency, including your full name, address, date of birth, and phone number. If you have one, please also provide the name of an emergency contact and their phone number. Please also note that live phone, video, or chat sessions are 30 minutes, but sometimes can be longer, depending on availability.
My counseling style is warm, compassionate, and aimed at empowering my clients to make positive changes in their lives. My approach combines motivational interviewing with cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and solution-focused techniques to help individuals achieve their goals. I work with each client to write an individualized, mutually agreed upon treatment plan based on empirically supported techniques. I take a client-centeted approach to incorporate faith, scripture, or prayer into treatment, while maintaining my scope of practice as a mental health provider.
It takes tremendous strength and courage to ask for help with making positive changes. I'm honored to be a part of that process. I look forward to working with you!

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Dr. Erin Armour. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Faithful Counseling might be different.
I have been really grateful for Dr. Armour. She has been kind and attentive and has helped me put into words what I have been trying to process. I hadn’t experienced therapy before, so I am grateful for this positive experience and would definitely recommend Dr. Armour.
