About me
"God is interested in the whole person – physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually.
He wants to make you strong and healthy so that you can serve powerfully for a long time."
– Matthew Kelly
Christian counseling integrates traditional talk therapy with a Bible-based approach. It addresses our existential belief system, the nature of our problems, and how to resolve them, using God's word and psychological research compatible with Scripture teachings.
Christian counseling aims to discover those areas in which you may disobey the principles and commands of Scripture and to help you learn how to align your will to God's will.
You will lovingly learn to submit to the will of God.
Declare victory in your thought life.
As Christians, we must constantly assess how we continue to grow in our relationship with God.
We are at war, and the battle is for men's and women's minds.
I view life through God's lens and do not impose my views on anyone. I respect where you are on your journey. If you are ready to embark on this journey together, we will:
"Take every thought captive in the obedience to Christ."
– 2 Corinthians 10:5
Allow God's promise to come alive in your heart.
Faith is simply choosing to believe what He says in His word. The more I believe in God's word, the more I can trust and rely on it entirely.
His word is true no matter what my circumstances look like. Whether you are struggling with relationship issues, grief, anxiety, depression, job loss, health concerns, or trauma, Christian therapy can help you draw your attention away from yourself and focus on God's enduring love.
The Divine Physician is the source and strength of your recovery.
"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you.
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
– Isaiah 41:10
Go beyond counseling.
Christian counseling goes beyond acknowledging the tangible problem you face.
This form of counseling goes beyond helping you fix these problems. It is a journey of discovering ways Christ can enter your life and change it in the immediate and the everlasting future.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Evelynn Rivadeneira. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Faithful Counseling might be different.
Evelyn has been a great friend not just a counsellor. She is thorough and very sincere. I really appreciate her and you can sense warmth from her therapy. Of all the counsellors I’ve encountered I have been able to stick with her and see the fruit from committing to it and keep up with sessions and journals. I’ve overcome much although there is still much to overcome.
Evelynn spoted right away my real issues, i can see my life from a different perspective and try to understand better my patterns and difficulties i experienced. She always answers my text and give me good advice. She is not comlpicating, it represent me thing simple, so i can comprehand. She also take a note on my faith and also give me some quotes from Bible. I would suggest to anyone to be your therapist.
My experience working with Evelynn was amazing.
I came to her hoping to address some extremely sensitive trauma and she displayed grace, insight and discernment during our tenure.
Healing is a continual process but I credit Evelynn with helping me take some major initial steps in the right direction.
