Using a person-centered approach and evidence-based yet biblically based and culturally safe techniques, I have found some success in working with those who've resulting in depression, anxiety, experienced trauma, especially related to adverse childhood experiences (ACES) resulting in depression, anxiety or relationship and boundary issues. It is my belief that the clients hold the reins and attainment of mutually identified goals are within their grasp. My Christian faith, firmly grounded in the Bible, training at Columbia University and New York University, as well as my Social Work code of ethics, are the foundation for my philosophy of respect for the client's right to self-determination while monitoring for safety.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Fay Callam. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Faithful Counseling might be different.
I had been hesitant over starting therapy as I felt like these sessions would not be enough time to unpack the emotional burdens I have been facing. But Fay was able to create a space for me to share a lot of the things that were concerning me and still provide encouragement and hope through a biblical lens. Our sessions have been filled with a good balance of grace and challenge that I am able to leave sessions pondering/reflecting and feeling renewed and strengthened. I’m grateful for therapy now and am so glad I was matched with Fay and intend on continuing to explore and discover healing along side God.
