About me

As a counselor, for over 26 years, I have discovered the importance of spiritual faith, in the counseling environment. I welcome and encourage discussions involving client's spiritual and religious experiences and needs. I encourage client's to use their faith as an important coping skill, along with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), that gives healthy coping skills a name and practical application, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), which involves thinking through and processing concerns and solutions, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), that teaches effective coping skills and prepares individuals to be able to talk about upsetting and confusing events.

Clients continue to tell me how glad they are to be able to discuss the spiritual and religious experiences that have impacted their lives (positively and negatively), as well as how they would like to grow in their faith, and learn to use biblical truths to cope with life's stressors. Due to my strong Christian faith, that includes regular Bible study and church involvement, we are able to have lively and beneficial discussions, that help clients overcome, and find joy!

Let's get started, working out your challenges together. I care about your success!

Ms. Glenna Rodgers is very kind and is easy to talk with. I’ve received great advice, help, and she’s provided me with worksheets on things I’m dealing with to help me find ways to cope. I appreciate how she has helped me to learn to forgive myself and I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. She’s great and I would 100% recommend her to any friend or family member.

Glenna was so personable and easy to open up to. She had great suggestions, that were attainable for me and was so encouraging in our discussion. I look forward to our next session.

Glenna is great. She is very inviting, patient and inciteful. I actually really enjoy our sessions. She is gentle in redirecting my focus and good at holding up the mirror to see where I may be blind. It's been a pleasure working with her the few times we have talked.
