About Me

I am a Christian Counselor licensed in Pennsylvania who has been providing help and hope to people for the last 8 years in a variety of settings and situations from private practice to rehabs and psych wards. I have partnered with individuals to work on is depression, anxiety, relationships, addiction, trauma, and chronic mental health. I also enjoy helping people doing "okay" do even better with performance coaching to help them achieve their spiritual purpose.

Change can be hard, but I believe that with God all things are possible and with a little help people can learn to better help and heal themselves. Every person is different and I make sure to work with you to figure out how you would like to incorporate spirituality and your faith in our sessions. On one hand, some people just want to know that the person they are working with believes similarly to them while others want to pray and use scripture to guide each session. Overall, I believe a warm, empathetic, and supportive environment is critical for successful change.

So how does counseling typically work? It all starts with getting to know each other and making sure you feel comfortable and safe so that we can actually talk through the real issues without fearing being judged. Often this leads to new ideas and tools that can be used to make lasting positive changes. The other important ingredients are accountability and feedback so that we can really see if things are getting better or not. Most of the techniques and theories that I use are rooted in a strength-based and practical approach including brief counseling, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

Genuinely cares and takes time to help on issues presented. Would highly recommend.

One obstacle for traditional counseling is simply finding counselors and getting started. This flexible format allows those seeking counseling to quickly connect to excellent qualified counselors. Sometimes your time of need is not a convenient time to set up an in-person counseling session, but Faithful Counseling has made a way to get help when and where you need it. I am extremely thankful.
