About Me

I’m a psychologist with more than 20 years of experience. I am also a professor training Marriage and Family Therapists. But more than teaching, I love counseling. The joy of discovering a solution for a problem with someone and see them grow and thrive, is amazing.
Before I became a psychologist, I was a pastor for 12 years and was pastor at 3 different churches. My love for counseling and the clear need that people had working with a skilled therapist that could understand their faith, prompted me to go back to university and become a psychologist.
I came to the understanding that even though we are Christians, we are not perfect and therefore, at times, we all need help. The greatest mistake is trying to solve your problems alone. I see counseling as the undiscovered gem in human functioning – far too many people miss the opportunity of working with a trained and skilled counselor to help them figure out a plan through their challenge. I’m glad you are considering this option; I’m glad that you are reading my profile and I would love working with you.
