About me

Life’s trials, tribulations, mental health issues, and mysteries of God’s word take us on a journey composed of many uncertainties that can question our faith walk, religious beliefs, and ourselves. We can feel alone and lonely. Allow me to walk alongside you to help you heal, renew, strengthen, and transform your mind, body, and spirit. We may not ascertain all the answers in our journey together, but we can discover and develop the best approach(s) we can regarding your issues with our prayers, God’s guidance, His presence in and during counseling sessions. I am an honest, authentic, devoted Christian counselor who listens to God’s counseling directions and scriptural guidance from various beliefs. I am a Champion for Christ in the fields of Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Christian, and Spiritual Counseling who will go all the way with you to reach your new horizons.

I have a Master of Education in Counseling degree from Virginia State University and a Master of Arts degree in Pastoral Studies (Theology) from Washington Theological Union Seminary. I earned an Advanced Certification in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola University-Maryland. Currently, I am a second-year doctoral candidate at Liberty University in the Doctor of Education Department-Community Care and Counseling concentrating in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have maintained 39-years in recovery through the help of different support groups, church, counseling, and numerous friends still willing to give back. I would be honored to meet you.
