I have a master's degree from the University of Central Florida, in the field of Counselor Education. I have been licensed as a Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida since 2001. I have worked a combination of private practice, agency work as well as with the public school system. I am married, I have three children and one grandson. My foundation is that of a Person Centered Counselor, and important aspects of this include the use of empathy, unconditional positive regard and warmth. I also rely heavily on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I apply a lot of reason in the counseling process and I believe that a good therapist doesn't work any harder than the clients that they are trying to help. I am a trained hypnotherapist and I find that this can be very helpful in working with individuals who have a past trauma that they continue to struggle with. I find that a career as a counselor is a very fulfilling occupation and I truly enjoy helping individual's find a healthier path with their life. I was raised Catholic and I continue to hold my Christian values and beliefs. I tend to have conservative views, but I am open to working with individuals who may not share those beliefs.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for James Beller. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Faithful Counseling might be different.
In James Beller you will find a caring and easy to talk with therapist. He is a great listener with a way of helping you talk through what is happening in your life. If you are a Christian, he understands that you have a different perspective on life and respects that view. where you are a Christian or not, I would recommend you give him a try.
He is genuine, super helpful, listens and understands. He encourages and motivates and will lift your spirit through times of struggle and uncertainty.. highly recommend.
