Hi, my name is James Pace Lawson. We all face various struggles and challenges in life. My job is to give people the quality time they deserve to unpack what's been going on and to walk beside them on the road to recovery. In fact, my own journey from brokenness to wellness, that began more than a decade ago, is what inspired me to become a therapist. I've spent years studying the most effective interventions for a variety of common human experiences like depression, anxiety, substance use issues, and relationships. I read through studies in academic journals on a regular basis to keep abreast on the latest and greatest cognitive and/or behavioral interventions. I'm a very person-centered therapist, so the rate of change and interventions I provide will be determined by you're motivated and willing to try.
