About me

Greetings!! I am grateful to be sharing this moment with you! My name is Jamie and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor from Georgia with over 12 years of experience working with adolescents and adults. I have experience in the mental health field and have worked in a variety of settings including in-home therapy, community mental health, long distance counseling, inpatient hospital based therapeutic services, group therapy, collegiate counseling services and some school visits. I have experience working with a broad range of clinical issues including anxiety and depression, trauma recovery, anger management, self- esteem, major life changes and family/relationship issues.

I know that it takes a lot of courage to make the step in reaching out for help so I want you to know that my goal is to work hand in hand with you to achieve your goals and build the necessary skills to help navigate through life. My approach to counseling is warm and inviting and I will offer support as we navigate through difficult topics. I am a firm believer that we already possess the tools inside to change our life but that sometimes we just need a little assistance tapping into them. That is where I come into play! It is no accident or coincidence that you are here today and we are connected.

My clinical hours are typically 9-5 Mon-Thurs. I look forward to the possibility of working with you as you take the next step towards achieving your goals!

Mrs. Haynes is amazing. I feel a true connection with her which allows me to be very open.

I was hesitant on getting a therapist but Jamie has helped me figure things out that I probably would have taken a couple years to figure out.

Jamie is an amazing and thoughtful therapist. She challenges me to be a better version of myself and is a great listener! She also motivates me to take action when it is necessary.
