About Me

My name is Janice Johnson and I am a LPC with a masters in Counseling Psychology. I have been working in this field for 12 years and I have a passion to see people overcome their issues with sexual abuse, relational issues, forgiveness, anger, addiction, eating disorders and pride. I have been a Christian for over 50 years and I love to work with clients in a faith based environment. I use a Cognitive behavioral approach which I believe fits well with God's Word. The Bible deals with so many issues and provides a way of health and joy, an abundant life! I focus on faith based solutions that can help develop a clients strengths and gifts. I work with my clients to resolve any past issues that keep them stuck and find solutions to have the tools to resolve problems with greater efficacy. Establishing a relationship that is safe and warm is important to good therapy. God never promised us a problem free life but I believe He gives us the tools to overcome them. I would love to work with you on whatever issues you are dealing with. Please contact me with any questions you may have and let me know how I can help!

Janice is amazingly insightful, thoughtful and caring. She feels like a "best friend", which is a reflection of her comforting presence. I have tried other counselors, but she is the only one I've been able to totally open up to. She has helped me tremendously.
