About Me

I have a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Missouri, Columbia. I am a licensed clinical social worker(LCSW) and have over 20 years of experience as an LCSW. I am a Christian and counsel from a Christian perspective. I am a Bible believing and practicing Christian. I have been dedicated and growing in my Christian faith for over 30 years. My compassion and care allows me to help clients navigate emotional obstacles. I treat individuals struggling with personal issues that stop them from reaching their full potential. I truly believe in each person's ability to grow.

My scope of practice includes general mental health issues (anxiety, depression, etc.) adoption counseling, family conflict, attachment issues and grief and loss. I believe it is vital that those I work with take an active role in moving forward with their goals in therapy.

Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling life takes courage. I am here to support you.

I look forward to working in partnership with you!

Written by T.A. on Aug 24, 2021 after counseling with Janiece for 2 weeks

Janiece is kind, professional, truthful, empathetic and understanding in her approach to counseling. She is excellent at offering Biblical Christian-centered counseling advice in a non-judgement way that meets clients where they are, and she is skilled in listening attentively and with adding her commentary when appropriate and sharing helpful resources that are encouraging. She is prompt in messaging and replying throughout the week between sessions. I am so grateful to work with her!
