About Me

Hello. My name is Jeffrey Bennett.

Some call me Chaplain Jeff. Calling me by my first name Jeff is fine. Whatever is comfortable to you is even better. I am an Ordained Minister for over 30 years. I am a Board Certified Chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains. I am also a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for over 25 years. Formally, I am identify myself as Chaplain Jeffrey Bennett, M.Div., B.C.C., L.M.F.T.

Thank you for reviewing my profile.

I have also served at various institutions for over 30 years. Sometimes formally as the Chaplain Head, other times as a professional licensed therapist. Whatever my job title is, I am always serving the Lord. I believe God has generally called me to do His work outside the brick and mortar of churches. I have been blessed to witness over and over again about the mighty work of God in a multitude of places especially outside the church walls. Whether you belong to a formal faith group or not, whether you are seeking faith enrichment and application, religion or spirituality, or professional mental and emotional support or counsel, or combined or selected options of all that was just mentioned, I humbly offer my service to you.

I believe I can successfully offer you guidance in whatever situation you are challenged. One reason I declare that is because of consistent positive feedback by many others who I counsel in person. I have over 25 years of experience in face to face counsel as a chaplain and professional therapist. Now I have expanded my availability with chat, livechat, phone and video.

Life is indeed challenging. I am learning from personal experience how important it is to regularly include support from wise and proven counselors. Therefore I dedicate extensive time and effort toward my heart's desire of being the best individual, minister, professional psychotherapist and servant I can be. I believe one of my gifts and purpose in life is to help others.

To strengthen my gifts and skills toward my purpose, I seek and receive education and rigorous training and extensive supervision/counsel. Okay... honestly... some options I went into very begrudgingly. Then I showed much resistance. Eventually, I discovered it all was greatly beneficial and fruitful. Odd how much of life and events unfold. Very unpredictable. Glory to God.

Most of those experiences of development, healing and growth have been very humbling for me. For the most part, these experiences of learning still are humbling as I continue to become. These growth opportunities are not just from formal teachers. It seems there are opportunities from everyone I meet, and every event I experience. Therefore, if you discern to schedule with me, in our exchanges together, I too will very likely be learning along side you.

I intentionally as well as serendipitously benefit from an assortment of active steps to better serve in my calling, my inner resources and therapeutic skills. This includes personally receiving counsel, not just from clergy, but also counsel from professional therapists. Yes. I benefit from that too. I wasn't just born with these skills. LOL. While there may be individuals around each and all of us that could and do help us in multiple ways, I believe everyone would still benefit at least from some counsel through a multitude of counselors including professionals. Proverbs 11:14 and 24:6. It continues to be a great help for me. Without exception. I am confident in saying that it will lead to life-long lasting positive and diverse outcomes.

In my life's quest for healing, betterment and enrichment, I even spent time in a seminary. But don't worry. I definitely know that I am not 'holier than thou'. I believe the experience gave me something uniquely good, that for me, I was not able to find elsewhere. Again, I learned much there, and from many resources beyond the extensive readings required in that setting.

My ministerial and professional clinical history has given me an opportunity of meeting many individuals with varying and diverse lifestyles, cultures, beliefs, ages, politics, faiths, experiences and challenges. I have also been lead to many diverse places. These places includes inpatient psychiatric settings, outpatient clinical settings, medical hospitals, military base for those serving and their families, working with those who have criminal including felony charges pending, and special assignments on location when criminal, tragic, violent, accidental, or hate driven events happen on the worksite or in the community. I frequently work with individuals committed to a 12 step program. These individuals are those who strive for recovery due not just to substance addiction, but also recovery from events, traumas, relationships, childhood experiences and behaviors. And of course faith challenges.

If you even contemplate a little that you might benefit from counsel in one form or another, I encourage you to somehow find it within yourself to take courageous steps and secure professional counsel. Secure that support you need to take those steps. And include prayer and discernment. Enjoy unique experiences in your life that you believe will help you personally grow within yourself and relationships, in your mental and emotional wellbeing and healings, as well as toward your professionally development. Then I encourage you to share liberally with others from your gleaning experiences.

If you consider that I might be part of your quest for betterment and enriched sense of self, relationships, healing, faith and living, then I am honored. Please subscribe. Select my name as your cleric and/or professional counselor. Begin chat immediately. Additionally included in your subscription is your ability to self schedule a livechat, phone or video private, secured, and confidential session with me. These virtual private sessions definitely add significant value to your experience and outcomes. It is very easy to subscribe and get started. There is even live technical support there too to assist you as needed. So... 'Let's Talk'. And perhaps 'Let's Pray' at your discernment and initiation.

I appreciate and respect you. I desire you the best within your own being in all you think, recall, do, decide, feel, and are with. Jeff

He has been very understanding. He really listens and prays with me. I don't feel judged and for the first time I really poured out things that have been on my mind. Thanks Jeff

Mr. Bennett is not just professional, but passionate about his client's health and happiness. He not only offers insights via chat, but also provides helpful worksheets. If utilized, the worksheets do wonders! He always picks the right ones for the topic we are covering.
