About me

When you're hurting and looking for solid answers, we need to talk. I'm a licensed therapist who's spent 40+ years helping people through their toughest challenges. I've worked in a variety of settings including in-patient hospitals, churches, halfway houses, homeless shelters, and outpatient clinics. I've also conducted workshops on parenting, overcoming infidelity, and caregiving to the elderly. Those experiences give me a unique perspective on the struggles people go through along with integrating Bible-based Christianity with counseling principles.

In my own life, I grew up in a blended family with all the drama that brings. I have been married over 35 years to the same woman and have three wonderful sons, who were homeschooled. Presently, I am also involved in the care of a parent with dementia. These experiences give me insights and understanding into the challenges modern families and individuals face. I am also credential by FarmResponse in responding to rural and agricultural populations and the challenges they face.

From grief and relationship issues, to recovering from infidelity and addiction- if you're looking for help with your struggles I want to talk with you first! Scripture provides direction and hope in dealing with many of the challenges you're facing. Those answers have stood the test of time. The tools we have been given are powerful in overcoming challenges, and finding purpose, yet they are often misused or neglected.

I have always been passionate about helping people with the challenges they face in life. I want to see you succeed and improve your life. I've worked with clients across a wide range of concerns including discouragement, stress, relationship issues, blended family concerns, recovering from infidelity, career challenges, and caregiving for elderly parents. There are times you may feel overwhelmed and unable to handle things on your own terms - that's when it can be helpful to learn new ways of handling them! Reach out today if any of these topics resonate for you; there is hope available here at my practice now more than ever before!"

I am committed to providing compassionate care tailored specifically around each individual needs while working collaboratively as partners addressing your goals together. Whether it's discouragement, guilt, communication problems, addictions, or affairs, there is hope, direction, and help.

I've enjoyed my time communicating with Jeffrey. He understands me, and yet he is non-compromising on issues that he identifies as harmful to me. He challenges me, which is a good thing, but he does it in an empathetic and caring way.

Jeff is exceptional. His approach to solving communication issues has been very helpful to my fiancé and I. He helps us frame the real issues in ways that gets us moving forward with understanding. We greatly appreciate our time with him.

Jeffrey has become apart of my families weekly conversation, me and my wife talk about him as if he’s part of our extended family. This is because the therapeutic advice and mental exercises that he gives me are applied in my life daily. He keeps notes so well that midstream into our therapy sessions he will reference back to sessions over a month ago as if he and I just had our conversation. He is not gentle in his approaches which is what I wanted in a therapist. By this I mean he will not do as some therapists do and Waller in your pity party with you or let you feel sorry for yourself, he gets in the nitty gritty with you and wants to find out why you feel that way and how he can help you get out of that situation. I was in the deepest darkest part of my life emotionally when I “met” Jeffrey and he has helped drag me through many problems I’ve needed help with. I honestly look forward to his conversation every week and do not anticipate the day where I decide to stop therapy and have to say “Hasta Luego”. I appreciate all of the work Jeffrey has put forth in our conversation and hope that he has had the impact on others that he has had for me.
