I have addressed issues related to self- esteem, parenting, addiction, tobacco cessation, family dynamics, codependency, anger management, depression, anxiety, and trauma utilizing evidenced-based strategies including effective communication skills, self-compassion, meditation, mindfulness, relationship building skills, forgiveness, and conflict resolution. I have created several original materials to assist in the therapeutic process and to best fit my client’s needs. I utilize a solution focused approach building from a person’s strengths and utilizing a variety of value-based techniques to assist my clients in achieving a healthier and more fulfilled life.

I am certified in Problem Solving Treatment and have taught various parenting classes including Love and Logic. I love the outdoors i.e. camping, hiking, taking my dog on an adventure and just soaking it all in. I have two wonderful adult sons and 4 beautiful grandchildren. Don't hesitate to ask and I will do my best to accommodate if at all possible at the available time. In the meantime, feel free to message anytime 24/7. Basically, it is what you are most comfortable with and at your own pace. I generally can respond at least once per morning and once per evening, sometimes more! Jennifer is the best therapist I have ever had! She supports me full-heartedly and makes me feel like I matter when I don't feel that way. She sees the strengths in me that I lose sight of at times. I am extremely thankful for her in my life.

It didn't take long to feel open and comfortable with Jennifer. I look forward to more sessions to dig deeper into my issues. She is good about providing resources for me to look into and read later, which I've done. Now that I'm better aware of how BetterHelp works and life has calmed down a bit, I will be engaging more. Fun to talk to also.

I’ve had multiple therapists throughout my life, and Jennifer is the first therapist that I feel like I’ve made actual progress with, and she’d definitely the best therapist I’ve ever had.

I had previously used Jennifer Hill for an emotional time I was going through. She kept in touch to see how I was doing after that. A death & other major family problems brought me back to her. She listens carefully, asks my opinion and gives me resources to be able to handle my problems. I felt she was with me all the way . I also love her smile & gentle calming personality. She´s definitely my go to person when I feel I´m in over my head or just need reassurance.
