About me
I am Johanna Anderson, a licensed therapist in the State of Georgia. I obtained my bachelors degree from UNC-Greensboro in 2016 in Human Development and Family Studies. I then went on to get my Masters degree in 2019 in Marriage and Family Therapy from Lee University. I having been doing therapy for about 5 years, including the time I was in school. I have experience working with young children, teens, adults, couples and families. I am experienced in helping clients work through issues such as anxiety, depression, low esteem/worth, family conflict, parenting issues, relational issues, attachment issues, trauma, and grief. I know that reaching out for help can be terrifying, whether this is your first experience with therapy or your 50th, I understand the challenges and fears. I am passionate about meeting people right where they are to and walk alongside them in their journey to find peace and healing. I am big on collaboration and want you to feel like you are in control of this process. For clients who wish to incorporate the Bible and prayer into their sessions, I am happy to do so.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Johanna Anderson. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Faithful Counseling might be different.
Jo Hannna Anderson is an expert counselor, and I would recommend her highly!
I recently had the pleasure of working with Johanna. She has helped me tackle some major life changes while also managing my ADHD. From the first session, it was clear that she was deeply knowledgeable about both issues, and she helped me develop strategies for dealing with both in a holistic way.
One of the things I appreciate most about working with her is her ability to really listen and understand what I am going through. She is always patient, kind, and non-judgmental, and she has helped me feel comfortable opening up about my struggles.
I highly recommend her to anyone who is dealing with big life changes or managing ADHD – she truly is an expert in both areas and a fantastic therapist all around.
