Hi! My name is John Loggins. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (Texas #09894) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (Texas #490) with over 30 years' experience. I have worked in agencies, hospitals and in private practice with individuals, couples, families and groups. Before that I was ordained in The United Methodist Church and served local churches in Central Texas for 17 years. Besides my love for people as God's most precious creation, I've had the opportunity to learn from other faith-traditions (Protestant, Catholic as well as Anglican). Over my lifetime I've become more contemplative in my spiritual life, practicing Centering Prayer and continuing to search the scriptures in addition to drawing on the support of corporate worship. I don't run to the Bible for an answer to every problem; lots of times the problem is me and that's when I study and pray to remember Whose I am and discern what I am called to do. If your faith matters to you then I would be humbled to share that journey with you as a "listening ear" (I Kings 3:9) so that you might have a more abundant life.
