Joleen Crook is an amazing person, much less therapist/counselor. She's consistant with my needs, she's caring, she listens, takes notes, steps in and helps push the negative thoughts away, and most of all cares about your well being.

BEST therapist I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I'm so lucky to have somebody like her. Joleen is extremely empathic and supportive towards myself and my probles each time I meet with her. ❤

I have nothing but great interactions and sessions with Joleen. Not only do I feel seen and heard but she is light-hearted and goofy and I feel so comfortable opening up and sharing with her. Would highly recommend her to anyone!

After just 2 months, Joleen has already made such an impact on my life. She has helped me develop manageable solutions to feelings of stress, anxiety, and overwhelm. She’s helped me navigate the difficult stages of grief after losing my mom, with compassion and encouragement. And she’s easy to open up to, making me feel heard and understood. After each session with Joleen, I always feel optimistic and mentally rejuvenated.

When I first came to Joleen, I was very depressed, and was weighed down heavily with feelings of inadequacy in my relationships and my ability to make connections with others. I experienced sexual abuse in my childhood and lost my relationship with my mom due to the unresolved pain. I had been to so many different types of therapy: group therapy, role playing, hypnosis, visual re-imaging therapy - and I was considering checking in to a psych unit. I saw the commercial for Better Help, the one where the woman appears to be having a panic attack. She literally unzips her chest and all of the words and feelings come tumbling out. That is exactly what I needed in my therapist, and Joleen has been a perfect match. I think the way she helped me most was by listening to my abuse story, letting me tell it, getting an understanding of the situation, then redirected my path to move forward, to no longer be defined by the label of abuse survivor, to do work that really made changes in my mindset. She helped me to peel back the layers, to name what was truly getting in the way of my happiness, and helped me to let go of the issues that other forms of therapy kept me entrenched in for so long.
I am forever grateful to Joleen for her patience, her gentle pushing to get me out of my ego and helped me to be vulnerable and truly work toward making the connections with others that I’ve longed for. If you are looking for someone who has the ability to listen, to empathize, and to give practical, caring application to help you move forward in your life, Joleen could be your perfect fit!

I already have an easy time opening up to others, but Joleen definitely conveys compassion and empathy in a way you do not feel judged. With Joleen, I can spill my heart and not regret it. She's helpful and challenges you to explore why you feel a certain way about something, write about it, and pick up from there at the next session. 10/10 would recommend. She's a true blessing.
